About Flaggity

Built from a real failure.

In 2024 I was leading operations for a steel-frame manufacturing project in New York. Three consecutive production batches failed customer inspection — bad welds that had passed our internal checks and shipped anyway.

We had qualified welders, documented procedures, and a quality team doing their jobs. The customer recovery cost tens of thousands of dollars and weeks of trust rebuilding.

The problem wasn't negligence. It was consistency. Human visual inspection at production volume is inherently variable. Inspector judgment shifts across a shift. Standards knowledge varies between individuals. And when something fails, the paper trail rarely tells you why.

I spent eleven years as a senior operations and quality leader across pharmaceutical, automotive, and manufacturing — enough experience to know this problem exists everywhere, and enough frustration to know the tools available to solve it were either enterprise systems costing $50,000 to deploy or paper checklists that haven't changed in thirty years.

So we built Flaggity.

What we built and why

Flaggity is an AI-powered inspection platform that analyzes welds and construction sites from a phone camera and generates audit-ready compliance reports cited against ISO 5817, AWS D1.1:2025, and OSHA 29 CFR 1926 — in under two minutes.

Not a replacement for qualified inspectors. A documentation and consistency layer that ensures every inspection is performed against the same standard, every finding is properly recorded, and every corrective action is tracked to closure.

The goal was simple — bring the inspection rigor that large manufacturers take for granted to the thousands of small and mid-size facilities that can't afford enterprise quality systems but face the same regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

For every facility

Not just the Fortune 500. The family fab shop. The three-person construction crew. The welder certifying their own work at 2 AM.

Built on real standards

No hand-wavy 'AI quality'. Every finding cites an actual clause — ISO 5817 Level B, AWS D1.1:2025 Clause 6.9, OSHA 1926.502(b)(1). No exceptions.

Our mission

Make professional quality inspection accessible to every facility on the planet — not the handful that can afford a $50K budget.

Who we are

A small team based in New York. Operations and quality management backgrounds across pharmaceutical, automotive, and manufacturing environments. We understand what quality teams actually deal with day to day — not in theory, but from years on the floor and in the boardroom.

We built the product we wished existed when those steel frames failed inspection.

Our commitment

Every finding Flaggity generates cites a specific standard and clause. No vague AI verdicts. No black-box results. If Flaggity AI flags a defect it tells you exactly which clause of ISO 5817 or AWS D1.1 it violates and exactly what corrective action is required.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to, because that's the standard your customers and auditors hold you to.

Flag it before it fails.

Free to try. No credit card. 3 inspections a month on the house.
